The front end has been assembled, everything mounted to the flat tinplate sheet that forms the "frame". A crank has been installed for starting. The springs are lashed to the square axle. Wheels turn independently so as not to bind up on curves, robbing the truck of what little power it will have. All non-moving parts are soldered together.
