| Built in 1990, this is one of Aster's less-well-known locomotives, at least in the US. The production run was 500. The engine is of typical Aster quality. It features an alcohol-fired Smithies boiler, 2 safety valves,pressure gauge, water glass, throttle, blower, check valve, and displacement lubricator. There is a hand pump for refilling the boiler from a trackside water source or following water car (side tanks not functional). There is a screw reverser in the cab that controls the true Walschaerts valve gear. Two double-acting D-valve cylinders. This locomotive is in fine running condition and is a good performer.
