| This Porter 0-4-0T was built by Malcolm Wright (Wrightscale). It has a single flue, gas-fired boiler. The gas tank is on the cab floor to the left of the boiler. The tank is filled via a filler valve on a stalk accessible through the cab window. A lubricator resides under the boiler. The engine has two double acting, D-valve cylinders controlled by slip eccentrics on the rear axle. The saddle tank is functional and the boiler can be refilled from it via a vacuum tap. A throttle and pressure gauge are included. This is an accurate scale model, beautifully crafted and detailed. It appears to be in superb running and cosmetic condition. However, please be aware that I have never run this engine. Includes original box and instruction manual. | |||||||||
