Vintage trains in the garden

Many of the old toy trains that were brought to the Windup were run. Here are a few photos of some of them.
A Unique Art train from the 1950s.
A Bassett-Lowke "Duke of York" 4-4-0, from the late 1920s, with a train of Hornby wagons. This locomotive belonged to the late Jack Wheldon.
A Marx M10005 streamliner from the early 1950s.

Disaster! The guard's van had detached itself from the train and no one noticed. When the train came around again, the collision occurred, derailing the lead locomotive.
