Buffalo Furnaces' new cab

by Marc Horovitz

I started with a paper mockup to make sure that the final product would look as intended.
All the parts were made of steel. Overlays were spot-welded on (that's what all those dark spots are). These are all of the major components except the roof.
The finished, assembled cab, seen here in a trial fitting on the engine.
The roof pops off for access to the cab's interior.
I tried to capture the spirit of the prototype, if not the letter. Since Jack had transformed the standard-gauge original into a narrow-gauge model, some liberties had to be taken with both size and proportion.
Finis!
